Hi There!

No turning back now.

Thanks for clicking on this page and reading through my bucket list thus far! For this list, there are six items total. These items are a little outlandish compared to my realistic ones, hence why they were put on this list. These required a little more thought and imagination, so I hope you enjoy what I've come up with!

The Official, Unrealistic List

  1. Visit Belgium

I know nothing about Belgium, but I have a sole purpose for going there: to make chocolate. This was the earliest item I ever put on my bucket list, dating back to its creation in the fifth grade almost seven years ago. I have tried Belgium chocolate on multiple occasions, and dream of going to the actual country to make some with my own hands.

  2. Visit France's Village of Books

All over social media for the past year, I have seen a village in France with only 800 residents dedicated to small shops that sell books of all kinds. Despite the fact that all of the books are written in French, and I do not know French, it's a beautiful town named Montolieu, Village du Livre. I highly recommend people search it up to see pictures and videos. It seems to have a very calming and appealing nature to it, and I could not imagine how many books I would love to buy if I was ever able to go there.

  3. Learn Italian

My mother is from the Philippines and speaks Tagalog often with her family back home, but I can only understand some of what they say and am not fluent in any language other than English. Out of all of the languages that interest me, Italian has always been the one I've found myself being most drawn to (no offense, Mr. Mahoney-Latin is pretty cool too). It would be ideal for me to become fluent, but that takes a lot of hard work, and it can't happen overnight. I would have no one to speak with in Italian, but I think it would be fun to be bilingual, and especially in a language that sounds beautiful.

  4. Visit Edinburgh

Everything I've seen of Scotland and Edinburgh especially have been nothing short of magical. The landscape and its historical aspects are incredibly interesting and physically appealing. Specifically, I would like to see the castles there and learn more about the culture from actual residents. Their accents also make me envious, so if I ever got the opportunity to go, I would be engrossed in everything the country had to offer.

  5. Publish a Book

I'm not quite sure what I would want it to be about, but I know it will certainly not be a memoir. Poetry or any type of fictional story sounds like a dream, and as a bibliophile, publishing my own writing would be the peak of any and all accomplishments I might have in my life. I have multiple writings sitting idly in journals and on my computer that might never see the light of day, and part of me is okay with that. Having my own work physically printed on paper and seeing people enjoy it would mean the world to me though.

  6. Learn How to Surf

I think it's safe to say that I am very challenged with my coordination, and often, my friends do not trust me with anything fragile or a task that requires flexibility or extraneous physical effort. I go to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina quite a bit, and my friends and I are always doing something near the ocean, whether it be sitting in the sand, or going out in a boat. Learning to surf mild waves would be a great accomplishment on my part despite my hardships with complicated exercise activities.

The End!

Congrats! You have made it to the end of my final project in Web Design. I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about myself and what interests me, as well as the skills I've learned this semester. Thank you for reading all the way through, and see you soon!

Stay "j chillin",

-Jasmine, your new favorite Senior
